Getting your App in the Android Market is pretty easy. There are just a few things that have to be done.

Here are the instructions, with a few pictures, on how to sign up for an Android Market Developer account.
Step 1
Sign into your google mail account. You can use the same account you used at www.noticesoftware.com to create your app.Step 2

You will be asked to fill out ‘Listing Details’. The important item here is ‘Developer Name’. This will show up as the app owner in the Android Market. We used “Notice Software LLC”. Here is a screen shot of what it looks like.Step 4
After clicking ‘Continue’, you will need to pay. Click on the ‘Google Checkout’ image (see screen shot below) and pay the $25 fee. It’s a one-time only fee.Step 5
After paying, click on the ‘return to Android Market’ link and you will see an empty “All Android Market listings” box. You have finished registering for a Developer account.Here are the instructions, with a few pictures, on how to deploy your app to the Android Market.
Step 1

You need to get your App from Blog Rocket, so that it can be uploaded to the Android Market:
- Sign into Blog Rocket.
- Click on the link for the app you want to deploy.
- Click on the ‘Download APK’ link. This will download your app to your local computer.

Click the ‘Upload Application link near the bottom of the screen.
Step 5
You will be prompted to upload the APK. Select the apk file (the app) you downloaded earlier, and upload it to the market.
If there is a problem, select the ‘APK File’ tab, and you can upload it from there.

Step 6
Upload images for the app. The screenshots and large icon (512×512) are required, the other images are optional.
Step 7
Enter the text for the app, including title, description, and promotional text. All of this will appear in them market when your app is published.
Step 8
Select an appropriate Application Type and Category for your app. This determines where your app is shown in the Android Market.
Step 9
Set the publication options for your app.- Leave Copy Protection ‘off.’
- Set the price to ‘Free.’
- Select ‘All Countries’ for distribution

Step 10
Enter the Contact Information. You do not have to include a phone number – but an email and web site are essential.
Step 11
Agree to the terms of service.
Step 12
Click ‘Publish’, and you are done! Your app will appear in the market in a few minutes.
You can also ‘Save’ it for now, if you are not finished with everything. You can return to publish later, and even ‘Unpublish’ if you make a mistake.
You can also deploy your Android App to other markets that are independent of Google. There are many of them, and we will list any here that are binary-compatible with the Google Android Market. This means that you can use the same app, without any changes, in these markets.
Note that Notifications will currently work only with Apps distributed out of the Google Android Market.
